Hello and Welcome to my Author's page.

My name is Sean La'Mont. I am originally from San Diego, California now residing in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a Celebrity Portrait Artist, but I specialize in creating Art about LOVE. My very first art showing was the SAN DIEGO GAY PRIDE FESTIVAL in 1998. Since then I shared my Art in New York (WINTER EXPLOSION), New Orleans (EESENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL), Atlanta (NATIONAL BLACK ARTS FESTIVAL, MIDTOWN ARTS FESTIVAL, HERITAGE ARTS FESTIVAL, ATLANTA GAY PRIDE, ATLANTA BLACK GAY PRIDE), Miami (SIZZLE MIAMI), Nashville (NASHVILLE BLACK PRIDE), Valdosta (SOUTH GEORGIA PRIDE). I have had the pleasure of sharing my Art with such noted celebrities as PAMELA ANDERSON, ANITA BAKER, RUPAUL, JESSIE JANE, TYLER PERRY, JILL SCOTT, ERYKAH BADU, TAMAR BRAXTON, BRANDY, DR. MARCI BOWERS, DA BRAT, KELLY PRICE, FAITH EVANS and SHERYL LEE RALPH.

My first eFfort as a writer was published in EBONY magazine in July 2006. I stated writing seriously after I had an amazing dream that woke me in tears. I told my husband and he said that it would make a great book. And two years later, I wrote my first book "THE TRUTH KILLS".

"THE TRUTH KILLS" explores love, family, and the pursuit of happiness no matter who you are. This book will always be special to me because it shares a story that has never been told. And even though it catagorized as fiction it is actually based on reality. My main goal with this series of books was to not only entertain the reader but to educate people that we are all the same. We all desire to love and be loved no matter the race, religious beliefs or sexuality.

I am currently working on the conclusion to "THE TRUTH KILLS" Trilogy. And have recently started on my new Epic novel "BENJAMIN, THE JOURNEY OF BASHIRI"
