Elinda Bones

Where does one begin when being asked to describe themselves? Such a broad question: Who are you? I could go in dozens of directions with a biography. And I realize that the question is being asked merely so potential readers can determine if I'm an author that they would enjoy hearing from. Or perhaps potential readers are trying to find a shred of similarity which would thereby determine whether or not our minds similarly think, so perhaps they would be able to fully absorb everything that rolls through my brain and out and into a book. So who am I?

The easy answer is: I'm fifty years old. Married for nearly thirty years. I'm a proud mother of five beautiful young adult children. I was born and raised in Maine but currently reside in New Hampshire.

The more in depth answer is: I've been having a love affair with writing for approximately two years. In the real world I have a full time job and consider myself to be a Retail Expert, because that is how I've earned my living for more than twenty years. That is how I've been able to support my rather large family and that is how I've afforded them the necessary education so that they can write a bio at some point and describe their lives as well. I'll let you in on something though...The longer the affair continues the closer I get to re-writing my bio.

So what do I write about? Everything. Children's books, How To Books (on retail, management, leadership, etc) Poetry, Mystery, Memoire, Everything! I'm what you may call an eclectic author. How can I not be? There's so much to say and so much that inspires me! Everything we do, see, feel and dream about is a story. And after all these years...I've finally started to tell it!
