Carol Nicolas

Carol Nicolas writes YA urban fantasy adventure and mystery novels with strong teen girl protagonists and always a touch of romance. Her novels include The Sixth Power (2013), Double Play: A Novel of Magic (2014) and The Sea Child: Selkie King Mysteries Book One (2017).

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Carol and her husband raised 5 children in California and then spent a year in Greece learning the language, eating delicious foods and connecting with relatives. They retired to Texas, where she keeps in contact with friends and family through Facebook. Carol spends her free time writing, quilting, researching her family history, discovering new books and authors, and walking with her West Highland Terrier, "Rocky."

She has traveled to England, Scotland, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, and Turkey. Carol loves foreign foods, cultures and languages. She is happiest curled up with a good book.
