A Brief Bio of Johnny “MACKnificent” Mack
Born January 14th 1955 in Panama City, Florida, Johnny “MACKnificent” Mack grew up and attended schools in Xenia, Ohio. Xenia High School was one of the top ten rated schools in the state of Ohio in 1973 when he graduated. Elected president of his 9th grade class he served on the student council throughout high school. As the recipient of several scholarships, he attended Urbana University in Urbana Ohio. As a student at Urbana University, he wrote for the student paper “The Lancer” and spoke at many colleges as a spoken word artist. He was published in the Pierson Mettler anthology of poetry during his college career. Johnny “MACKnificent” Mack went on to study at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he served as Chief Justice of the Student Court and became a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Mr. Mack finished his undergrad studies at California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Skadron College of Business. He has taken Graduate courses at Life Bible College in California and served as a licensed Minister in the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, where he pioneered and pastored a church in San Diego California.
Throughout his life, Johnny has had a passion for encouraging and motivating people to do and be more. He has spoken at seminars and training events across the country and is recognized as a MOTORvational Life Coach. He speaks to youth groups and sales seminars alike, to rave response. Mr. Mack has over 25 successful years in the educational and automotive sales arenas. At age 23, he became Regional Manager over a system of Proprietary schools in California, taking them to a 50% increase in enrollment while lowering attrition and increasing overall service dollars. He has set sales records at a number of automobile dealerships in California and Texas. In 2001, he was recognized as the #1 salesperson in the world for Mitsubishi Motors. In 2006 Mr. Mack was one of five National Finalists for the Mitsubishi National Walk-around contest finishing second and earning a $2500 prize. He has been seen weekly as Captain Credit on an infomercial for the Don Herring Auto Group on local Channel 21 in Dallas Texas.
A graduate of the prestigious Leadership Southwest class of 2003, he also served two years as a member of its board of directors. Mr. Mack is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, chairing a recent membership drive. He gives back to the community by volunteering at local high school mentoring events and career fairs. Mr. Mack has been the feature poet at Eastfield College’s Annual cultural Activity for the last five years.
