Hilary Sideris

Hilary Sideris is the author of five poetry chapbooks: The Orange Juice Is Over, Baby, Gold & Other Fish, Sweet Flag, and The Silent B. Her full-length poetry collections are Most Likely to Die, The Inclination to Make Waves, Un Amore Veloce, Animals in English, and Liberty Laundry. Sideris's poems appear in the anthologies: Stronger Than Fear: Poems of Empowerment, Compassion, and Social Justice, edited by Carol Alexander and Stephen Massimilla, Pomegranate Seeds: An Anthology of Greek-American Poetry, edited by Dean Kostos, Token Entry: New York City Subway Poems, edited by Gerry LaFemina, and Rabbit Ears, TV Poems, edited by Joel Allegretti. She studied English Literature at Indiana University and holds an MFA from The University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Sideris lives in Brooklyn and works for The City University of New York.
