A man of many talents Trevor Hill does it yet again by writing about something that not many persons think about on a daily basis. His book is well timed as it returns the reader to focus on getting back to basics. Trevor literally reminds of a time when our ancestors made stuff from scratch and enjoyed it all the more just for that reason.

He is well aware that many persons do not drink cider at all but for those that do he has pulled out all the stops delving into the history, the ingredients, the tools required and the process of making cider.

His aim is not only to share a method to prepare something but to also educate persons on where it all started and how it has evolved into today’s world. he is concerned that far too many traditional practices are becoming a thing of the past and must be preserved at any cost.
