Sandra writes contemporary romance and romantic suspense. The majority of her stories are located in Colorado because of its diverse selection of heroes and heroines (and that's where she lived when she started publishing). In less than a minute, you can see a cowboy, an engineer, a lawyer, or a stay-at-home mom/dad. You can also find her characters visiting New York or finding trouble in Florida because she grew up in New York and enjoyed vacations in Florida. Now, retired from her day job, she has moved to Florida and can write whenever she pleases while enjoying the Florida sun.

The biggest joy in her career, other than relishing the act of putting her characters through their paces, is connecting with readers.

She lives with her husband and Rudy, their rescue dog from Japan. Their two sons are grown and move around the country with her two wonderful daughers-in-law, but still provide endless inspiration and support for her writing.
