JD Bailey

JD Bailey is a writer and the creator of the blog and online community, Honest Mom. With real candor and a good dose of humor, JD writes to connect with other moms, raise awareness about women's mental health, and create a space for women to both vent and laugh.

JD is a co-author of the book, "I Just Want to Pee Alone," a collection of hilarious essays written by some very funny women. "I STILL Just Want to Pee Alone," in which JD's writing on postpartum depression will be featured, will be released March 2015.

An advocate for women's mental health, JD has been interviewed by Katie Couric about the topic, and her writing has been featured in publications such as baystateparent magazine, the Huffington Post, and Scary Mommy. JD is also a copywriter and social media manager.
