Robert Galgey

I was born in London in 1944 and brought up in the south of England until moving to Scotland in my late teens. In 1966 I emigrated to Australia where I first worked in a fruit and veg market, then for a while as an insurance agent.

After moving to a town on the south coast of New South Wales I drifted into painting and decorating where I remained for 30 years.

Although dabbling in writing as a hobby for many years, my first published work was an eighteen page article on decorating in 2003 in an Australian magazine called BURKES BACKYARD. Since then I have had three books published, they are: THE EVOLUTION MYTH; LOTTERY OF LOVE, and ARMAGEDDON AND AFTER.

Apart from living in England, Scotland and Australia, I have also lived in Italy and Spain. Over the years I have travelled all over Europe, Asia, North America, and Australasia. I feel that the travelling does make writing come easier, especially when describing different places.

Brought up in the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses since the age of six, my beliefs to some extent have influenced my writing, as can be seen in my books

THE EVOLUTION MYTH and ARMAGEDDON AND AFTER. The latter I consider the best of my work, with the most time spent on research. The front and back cover took over two months to complete by an artist friend of mine in Spain.

The section dealing with Armageddon itself is bound to shock some readers as it's not the general idea of what it is. Having said that, the AFTER part of the book will surely give the readers a warm feeling inside.
