Jay Stoeckl

Jay Stoeckl has been drawing and cartooning since 1982 and has had a passion for art since childhood. He illustrated comic strips for university newspapers and found success in graphic novels with his first book, St. Francis and Brother Duck.

Jay has taught public school children in grades 4 through 8 for over twelve years. Jay joined the Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) in June 2005 and now lives near Durango, Colorado where he enjoys hiking, backpacking, canoeing, search and rescue dog training, as well as keeping up with his many art and writing projects.
