Stephanie Hamilton is an intrepid traveller, both in body and spirit. She has lived abroad for most of her adult life in the Middle East and New Zealand. Born and raised in Canada, Stephanie is the eldest of six children, and has lived a colorful and transient life.
At the age of 23, she decided to leave her native land, and head to Saudi Arabia, where she met and married her husband James, and had three beautiful girls.
The birth of her second child Ruby was life altering when she found out soon after the birth that Ruby had Down Syndrome. This, coupled with surviving one of the biggest recessions of our time, pushed Stephanie outside of her comfort zone and forced her to question what it is that really matters in life.
Her move to New Zealand in 2009 provided a grounding and huge shift in perspective, where she was able to see the beauty of all that surrounds us in our every day life.
Stephanie reconnected with her love of photography and writing and began learning about the art of blogging, social media, and connecting with our true purpose in life.
Her life experiences, coupled with a hunger to connect to truth have fuelled the creation of “Hungry”-Feed Your Soul, Stephanie’s debut as an author. The book, which is a photographic essay that highlights the power of simplicity, love, and truth, is a luscious plate of soulfood to be enjoyed again and again.
Stephanie is currently pursuing the quest of her second book, along with helping others to forge their way into connecting with their life purpose. Stephanie currently lives in Dubai, UAE
