Andy King

Andy & Jackie King are authors and co-owners of A&J King Artisan Bakers in Salem, MA. After pairing up at the New England Culinary Institute, the couple trained at the Standard Baking Co. (Portland, ME) before opening up their own bakery in June of 2006. Since then, the bakery has garnered multiple Best of Boston awards, and has been featured prominently in the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Pastry and Baking North America, "James Martin's United Cakes of America" (UK's Good Food Channel), North Shore Magazine, New England Travel Magazine, and others.

When not at the bakery, they continue practicing traditional techniques (food and otherwise) by raising animals, gardens, children, sled dogs, and trying to do as much as possible by hand. Except for the wine - they make that with their feet.
