Danielle Pierre is an author, animal advocate, and unapologetic “chaos curator” who blends humor, heart, and a hint of unpredictability into everything she does.
A lifelong lover of nature and animals, Danielle is the co-founder of Young Paws Cat Rescue & Sanctuary in Kerman, California—a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to rescuing abandoned, injured, and at-risk cats. One of those rescues, a black-and-white charmer named Moo, inspired her beloved children’s book series, Dr. Paws & Moo the Cat.
Danielle is also the creator of The Specialty Kitchen Collection, a growing line of specialty diet cookbooks designed to inspire delicious, healthier living—without sacrificing flavor. She also writes poetry, and is currently exploring full-length nonfiction and fiction projects.
When she’s not writing, Danielle is busy caring for her rescue cats, plotting future Moo adventures, tending to her garden (where weeds are winning), or experimenting in the kitchen with a self-taught flair.
Her mission? To create stories that make people smile while making a difference—because a good book can change more than just a reader’s day; it can help change a life.
