John Loranger

John Loranger was born in Butte, Montana in 1961 and raised in Reno, Nevada. He now lives in Sparks, Nevada with his wife, Denise, and their cat, Sam. John proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1987. The last half of his service was onboard the USS Blue Ridge. He has always been a big reader and especially loves to read history books. He dabbled in writing novelettes and expanded to historical fiction novels. His first novel was "The Odyssey of Art O'Hara" and his second novel was "Lions and Souls: The Story of St. Mary of Egypt". He is currently working on a novel set in Japan during the 1600s.
