Jay Brown

A software developer for over 25 years, Jay has been building ECM products for IBM and FileNet since 99. These include the Java and .Net APIs for FileNet Content Manager and design of many CMIS related products in IBM's ECM portfolio.

As IBM's CMIS Evangelist, he's an OASIS CMIS Technical Committee member and original contributor on the CMIS 1.0 spec [1] as well as CMIS 1.1 and co-authored both the ‘OpenCMIS Server Development Guide’ [2] and 'CMIS and Apache Chemistry in Action' [3]

Jay regularly speaks on the subject of CMIS at various events such as IBM's annual Insight conference in Las Vegas and has a blog about personal information security here [4].
