BIO
Grenda Walton was born in England and now lives in Texas USA. This is the first book she has written.
The reason for the book is to let her great nieces and nephew know about her life in an Orphanage between 1944-1952. Also included are stories of her sisters and brothers life and some of the girls in the home. It is not meant to be a sob story it is really a biography of events that happened, good and bad in those eight years.
She has been a professional clown for the last thirty years and runs a charity
sending beanie babies, soft toys and clothes all over the world to Orphanages and
Hospitals. Many of the children have aids. Her charity is called Lesotho
Children's Fund. www.Lesothochildrensfund.org her mission statement for the charity is:
"Like the sunflower that always moves towards the sun's rays, so shall we move
towards helping these children find rays of hope."
Her Clown Company since 1978 is called "Clown on the Run" and her mission
statement is:
"To make every child feel good about themselves and to smile and hug all
children." www.Clownontherun.com.
She is now a proud American Citizen.
