James Arthur Anderson

James Arthur Anderson is professor Emeritus at Johnson & Wales University. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Rhode Island College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island. He made his first professional sale to Andrew J. Offutt's Swords Against Darkness V anthology in 1979, and his fiction has appeared in numerous magazines and journals since that time. He has also published poetry, nonfiction, and scholarly articles.

Dr. Anderson is an avid lover of horses and rides his Paso Fino, Ilucion de Contrallano. He also has a barn full of adopted cats and a spoiled pappilon dog named Marquis. He lives in Garfield, GA with his wife Lynn.
