Still Here Thinking of You is a collaborative memoir. My other work has been published in The Writer, Damselfly Press, Barren Magazine, Gravel Magazine, Sleet Magazine, Feminine Collective, Tweetspeak Poetry, as well as other journals and publications. A personal essay is included in the anthology My Body My Words, edited by Loren Kleinman and Amye Archer. I am currently working on a collection of short stories (fiction), as well as writing shorter memoir pieces. As far back as I can remember, I wanted to write stories and in my teens began keeping a journal - years later, the multitude of notebooks are taking over my house! They are a repository of rants, venting, recollections, beginnings of stories, and a resource for ideas. I live in Westchester County, NY, with my husband and two sons. I have been nourished by writing, by literature, and see writers as generous in their willingness to share, whether through fiction or memoir, stories that help others escape loneliness, and find connection, and see possibility. I hope that I can be as generous in my own writing.
