Drew Avera

Drew Avera writes action-packed adventures where the stakes are high, the odds are impossible, and the heroes refuse to quit.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Drew brings his military background and love of classic action movies to his fast-paced military science fiction, space opera, and action thrillers.

His science fiction includes The Consulate Trilogy, The Alorian Wars, Dead Planet, and Absolution, delivering explosive action, political intrigue, and hope against impossible odds.

For readers who prefer their action a little closer to home, Drew is also the creator of Steven Mitchell, an unconventional problem solver guided by one simple principle: minimum effort, maximum efficiency.

Whether the adventure unfolds across distant galaxies or on the streets of Hampton Roads, Drew writes stories filled with larger-than-life characters, relentless action, and just enough humor to keep things interesting.

If you enjoy The Expanse, Star Trek, Jack Reacher, or the unapologetic action movies of the '80s and '90s, there's an adventure waiting for you.
