June 2013 will mark his 14th year visiting and helping out at the Porcupine School (Pahin Sinte Owayawa) in Porcupine, South Dakota. The Lakota people held an honoring ceremony for him for his work and donated computers (See the Star Quilt photo).
Paul is married, has four children, and four grandchildren. His friends and colleagues know him for his wide repertoire of jokes and illustrative stories. When he has time, he enjoys woodworking and sailing.
