A. D. Reed

A. D. Reed is a professional writer and editor and the owner of Pisgah Press, LLC, based in Asheville, NC. He has operated the independent editorial service My Own Editor (www.myowneditor.com) since 2001, and has been a professional writer and editor for more than 25 years. He served as editor and co-author of Joseph R. Haun’s philosophical memoir, "Unbelievable: Faith, Reason, and the Search for Truth," which inspired him to establish Pisgah Press. Pisgah is also the publisher of Sarah-Ann Smith's acclaimed novel, "Trang Sen"; Michael Hopping's collection of short stories, "MacTiernan's Bottle"; Patrick O'Sullivan's autobiography, "A Green One for Woody"; and other books. Reed works as the chief copyeditor of the monthly multicultural newspaper "The Urban News" in Asheville, and previously was a writer and editor of the "West Asheville News" and a columnist for the "Asheville Citizen-Times."
