Mike Chalek

Michael E Chalek (Mike) was born in 1952 to a single mother in dire economic circumstances. Seeing no other solution, she gave up her baby to a black market adoption broker in Florida who then sold Mike for $200 to a childless couple in an under-the-table transaction.

After a successful search and reunion for his birth family, Mike now spends his adulthood fighting back against fraudulent adoption practices and advocating for equal rights for adult adoptees worldwide.
