Brian grew up in Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Psychology before earning a M.A. in Management from the Peter F. Drucker School of the Claremont Graduate University. He spent nearly twenty years with ARAMARK Corporation serving as Executive Vice President of Administration as well as a member of the Executive Council and Presidents Council before retiring in 2004.
Since then, Brian has focused on different business and charitable interests, foremost of which is The John L. Mulvaney Foundation which he founded with his wife, Kay, in 2000. The Foundation operates with an entrepreneurial approach assisting community-based charities serving people in extreme need, providing capital as well as planning and public relations services designed to extend the impact of these organizations.
Brian is an avid golfer and emulated Roy’s approach to the game in winning his first club championship in 2010. He splits his time between Southern California and Northern Michigan. Brian has always loved to write. Roy: The 78-Year-Old Champion is his first book.
