Zanetta Lee Collins

Zanetta Lee Collins, was born September 17, 1976 in Fort Ord, California, she moved back to Cocoa, Fl., after her parents divorced. Zanetta graduated from Cocoa High School, in 1995 where she went on to obtained a basketball scholarship at Miami Dade Community College in Miami Fl. This journey would not be easy; she bounced around between four colleges trying to find her way. During which she gave birth to a beautiful son by the name of De’Vyon AM Collins. After five years, she obtained her BA degree in Psychology from Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida. About a year after graduting, she decided to enlist in the United States Army where she served 3 ½ years before being medical discharged. After which, she returned to Cocoa, FL. After being back in Cocoa for several years the real journey began when she accepted the “Lord” as her personal savior on August 18, 2009. After giving her life to Christ in 2010 Zanetta attended the Academy of Cosmetology in Merritt Island, Fl., where she became licensed cosmetologist, which is the same time she began writing her 1st book “The Colors of My Wings.” She is currently enrolled at Full Sail University pursing her Master’s Degree in Media Design, while also establishing her new company ZLC, Inc.
