Steve Griffith has been playing golf since he was 10 years old. He has been a scratch golfer for the past 40 years. His best round was a 65 at the Elks Country Club of Hamilton, Ohio. His best round for 9 holes is a 30 (-6), 4 birdies and an eagle. His longest drive in a world class long drive competition is 395+ yards. Steve started competing in world long drive competitions when he was 51 years old and 4 years later he became a world champion. Steve had been a 15 time world finalist, all after the age of 51.

Steve's is a retired school teacher. While teaching he received many awards and accolades. Steve, as he should be, is most proud of his teaching career.

Steve is now a professional long drive champion. He is considered by many as the ambassador of world long drive competitors.

Steve's hobbies are helping others reach their full potential in whatever and being the best person he can be.
