The main purpose of my books is to entertain you and provide an escape from the toils of day to day living. The Underlying Evil is a sports thriller based on a fictionalized version of my experiences in the secret and seedy world of competitive bodybuilding. Yes, that's me on the cover. I guarantee it is a page-turner, written in the style of my favorite author, John Grisham, and you don't have to be a bodybuilder to enjoy it. Fantastical Bedtime Stories for Boys are select tales I wrote for my sons when I was away from them. I sent them a portion of the stories every couple of weeks through the mail. I promise you will be asked to read them again and again. Moonbeam is a story I told verbally to my sons before they went to sleep, which grew with each telling, leading me to put it all down on paper and publish it.

Confessions of a White Heterosexual Male: Your Guide to Understanding Civil Rights History of Gays and African Americans is a new venture for me, but stems from my interest in bodybuilding. I came across a VHS copy of the cult movie, Ironmaster, whose star, Sam Pasco, originally inspired me to pursue bodybuilding. After watching the movie again, I decided to look my former boyhood idol up. To my surprise I found out that he was gay, which led me to want to know more about what he experienced as a gay man. In this book I document my investigation into Sam Pasco, and through him I come to understand the civil rights history for oppressed populations. I promise you this book is an eye-opener for anyone who wants to understand why things are the way they are for gays and African Americans with respect to their civil rights.
