A highly aware thinker, Henry J. Sienkiewicz provides a wealth of insights across multiple fields.
Henry has served in multiple positions within the federal Senior Executive Service between 2008 and 2013 within the Defense Information Systems Agency. He is currently the Chief Innovation and Revenue Officer for Secure Channels, an Orange County based encryption company. His previous commercial experience was as the founder and chief executive officer for Open Travel Software, an award-winning software developer focused on the global travel community, and in the chief information officer role at three technology companies. He or his companies have been the recipient of multiple awards for innovations or achievement in the technology industry. In 2013, Henry was named by Computer World as a Premier 100. He retired as a United States Army Reserve lieutenant colonel in July 2008.
Henry holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Notre Dame and a master of science from the Johns Hopkins University. He is on faculty at Georgetown University.
"The Art of Cyber Conflict" is the first unclassified, doctrinal cyber security book, it was designed to be approachable to all audiences. His 2017 "Voor Elise" is his first collaborative effort and was a work of love. In 2006, he completed and published his first book, "Centerlined," which dealt with interpersonal and organizational dynamics. His second book, "Untangled," was released in March 2013. Untangled reflects on how to find distance in a social media driven world.
