Technically, according to Ancestry, I am an Irish Cajun from Texas. I proudly wear my purple shirt every Spring in the Relay for Life. I am a lung cancer survivor.

My love of books is second only to my love of family. It is a close family although spread across five states. We are happy to say if you are not present, you are the subject. Technology and social media keep us in touch daily. Pictured is Alexia Jordan, Grand Girl, who spends the summer with us.

I write the Monarch Beach series of cozy mysteries. Monarch Beach is a fictional place although folks on the Central Coast of California may recognize some of the places mentioned. Family and friends often find their names among the residents. Newest in that series is Blue Mooed. In the works - What in Blue Blazes, next in the Monarch Beach series.

Hot Storage is a stand alone, set in the world of self storage, and featuring Marlena Montoya. Marlena will return in Cold Storage, coming 2021.

Something in the Shadows is my newest, another stand alone, this one a ghost story.
