James Wolper

Jim Wolper is passionate about many things, but mathematics, flying, and writing rise to the top of the list. He is a research mathematician with degrees from Harvard (AB) and Brown (PhD), and an ATP-rated pilot and flight instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI, CFIG). He was a 14CFR135 check airman.

Jim's current projects are a lyrical introduction to aerodynamics, tentatively entitled "On the Nature of Wings," and an introduction to applied mathematics, tentatively titled "Thinking With Calculus."
