P. Manning lives in Southern California, writing...And loving it!

I thought I was meant to sing and write songs; not so. I found out the not-so-hard-way that just because you can do something, does not mean you should or must do it. If the one thing does not make you happy, then do the other thing. For me that other thing is writing books. How much self-contentment and joy might I have missed out on if I had followed the road others thought I should follow simply because I could?

Well, I believe we all have been given many wonderful gifts, so why settle. Use the gift, or gifts that fills you from the inside. The gift that lights you up in places no one else can see. The kind of happiness that accolades and standing ovations are no where around For me, that place is in my room with my typewriter, or Lap-top, scratch paper, pencils and tons of erasers.

That is what makes me happy.
