Victoria L. Szulc

Victoria L. Szulc is a multi-media artist and author, a Renaissance woman living a gothic Steampunk life, The Countess®. She “lives” her art, loves to draw, specializing in pet portraiture and other artistic endeavors through her company The Haute HenTM. Victoria is an experienced weather spotter for the NWS, a history nerd, loves things that go bump in the night, and appreciates a strong sweet cup of tea.

Her work has been recognized in St. Louis Magazine (A-List Reader's Choice Author/2nd Place-2019, placed top five-2023, 2026), Amazon UK Storytellers 2017 semi-finalist, and her illustrations for Cecilia's Tale won a runners-up award for The Distinctive Cat Stephen Memorial Award 2019.
