Cliff McGoon

In addition to Cliff McGoon's novels, he also is a singer-songwriter. His latest CD titled "Thunder In the Night" is available on Amazon. The songs are American story songs which he wrote and performs. "I came late to most of the things I love to do," he says. I wrote the novels starting at age 62; the songs at 72. I first threw my leg over a Harley at age 67--the time most guys are quitting." Since that first ride, he has covered some 40,000 miles in the western US. The first portion of McGoon's professional life involved writing and producing publications for business and corporate audiences. "Doing this stuff is a lot more fun," he says. "Although pleasing readers and listeners is tough, I'm out to prove that'old-dogs-new-tricks' thing wrong." He is working on a second CD titled "Manitoba Wind," and it will be available in late summer.
