Jake Anthony is an animator, children’s author, and illustrator whose love for drawing began in the quiet glow of a closet, a flashlight, and a stack of paper—sketching until the batteries finally gave out.

That early obsession with storytelling through images grew into a career bringing characters to life for readers of all ages. He is the creator of Jacob’s Room, an American Sign Language children’s book that celebrates communication, inclusion, and imagination, and the illustrator of a mermaid-themed coloring book for adults that blends fantasy with relaxation.

Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jake continues to craft worlds where art, emotion, and story meet—inviting readers, young and grown, to rediscover wonder through the simple magic of a pencil and a dream.
