I'm a full time RVer and truly love the RVing lifestyle and RV travel. When we're not traveling, I can hardly wait to hit the road. I know full timing is not for everyone, and I can't really explain why, but I really like living in an RV. I think it's mostly the feeling of freedom it gives me.

I like doing my own RV repair and maintenance when I can. I have earned four service technician certificates from Dometic by completing a correspondence course. I've posted many of the maintenance tips I've accumulated over the years to our site RVTipOfTheDay.com

From 2000 to late 2004 I wrote a column called Curbside for RV Companion magazine. The original publishers sold it and soon thereafter it went out of publication. A lot the material from my columns found a home at RVbasics.com.
