DARWIN PHILLIPS

I am pretty much a man of two coast East and West, I have spent a great deal of time on both from California to Boston and many points in between, I love to write although I'm not very good at it yet, I live in New England and I am a History Buff, mainly Native American history so I track from the Great Plains tribes in the West to the Great Forest Tribes of the East.

I did four years in service to my country in the US Coast Guard in search and rescue I was a small boats operator initially and became a Gunners Mate aboard the Cutter BiBB WHEC 31 Destroyer Escort Class during Nam, I have raised two families and have 6 kids, 3 biological and 3 thru my second marriage, I have 7 Grandkids and consider myself a very wealthy man.

So now I fish, write poetry, stories, and songs, I may even do an occasional live performance here and there from time to time, I performed on both coast for 50+ years and recently retired from running the road with a myriad of bands, it can get tiring. I intend to do a little more traveling in my motorhome and find some great places to write at my leisure.
