Penny Raile

Artist Penny Raile’s medium of choice has always been paper. From her earliest days of finger painting in preschool to today making art books. Her current projects include creating collage-paper books and coloring books for all ages. In her recent past, she has authored several best-selling Zentangle books.

She lived and worked sixteen years in the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles filling her warehouse style loft with her art work. From cardboard dioramas to paper cutouts, her walls were filled with colorful and whimsical art.

Her northwest Kansas roots called her home where she continues to create non-stop. Within the first year of returning home, she ran out of space and rented a studio on Main Street close to the small town’s grocery and hardware stores - all musts for a working artist.

Penny has recently immersed herself into digital and artificial intelligence art and blending the two together.
