Salvatore Piccolo

Salvatore Piccolo, expert in Archaeological Cultural Heritage, was born in Rome in 1959.

Author of numerous articles, he published on important Italian magazines and he took part at the "1st International Congress of Sicilian Prehistory and Protohistory" (Corleone, 1997), speaking about the focus of this research .

He wrote "Terra Mater, sulle sponde del Gela Greco", a story about Hellenic Sicily seen from a particular perspective, the city of Gela; "Historia Tua", a children's storytelling of Greek Syracuse and "Oltre l'antico fiume", about the ancient city of Gela, both aimed at secondary school students.

He attended courses on Antique Mediterranean Civilisations and has collaborated as Scientific Consultant with different organizations.
