Jonelle Patrick has been writing about Japanese culture and travel since she first moved to Tokyo in 2003. The author of six novels, she was awarded a cultural visa for writing about Japan by the Japanese government and continues to be a regular contributor to Japanagram, Only In Japan, and The Tokyo Guide I Wish I’d Had. A graduate of Stanford University and the Sendagaya Japanese Language Institute, she’s also a member of the Mystery Writers of America, International Thriller Writers, Sisters in Crime, and the Historical Novel Society. She divides her time between Tokyo and San Francisco.
