Lyndsay Wright (1972- ) was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire in the UK and read English at Cambridge University (Churchill College). After university, she became a communications expert, working for companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. She left her corporate career in 2019 to write full-time.
Her new novel, Pilgrim, was published in November 2023. It tells the story of three men on a journey of self-discovery as they leave the dystopian Citadel to search for a better life in the New City. A work of speculative fiction, it is the first in a series exploring the idea that we are living in an attraction-based universe where we create our own reality. This blends thoughts about the Law of Attraction with insights from quantum physics, Western and Eastern philosophies, spirituality, and religion.
She has also published two historical fiction works under L.G. Wright. The first, Grace, was published in April 2013. Her second, Echoes, was published in May 2023. These gave her the opportunity to deep-dive into two fascinating periods of history: the 1920s in the run-up to the Wall Street Crash; and the medieval era, culminating in the Black Death in the mid-14th century.
Lyndsay lives in Cambridge, UK.
