Shane A. Mason

Shane A. Mason is a Kiwi writer who growing up was inspired by the same landscape as "Lord of the Rings," director Peter Jackson. Born a few years later Shane could see the same sort of adventures taking place in the raw mountainous surrounds, and for years sketched out many different tales and escapades based on the land.

After years of studying mind-body-soul medicine and working as a natural healer, he watched the 6 DVDs on the making of the "Lord of the Rings," which galvanized him into finishing an action-adventure book based on spiritual themes and set in the wilderness of the South Island of New Zealand where he grew up.

Many more works are in the pipeline and are currently being worked upon.
