Donna M. Ferguson

Donna M. Ferguson lives with her husband near the Heritage Rail Trail County Park in southern Pennsylvania. She is a retired teacher who taught special needs preschool and third grade students in York County schools. Donna enjoys illustrating her books.

The gray and white kitten who greets her on daily rail trail walks inspired the Rail Trail Kitten books.

"Moo" is a story about a cat who lives at Perrydell Farm who thinks she is a cow.

While on vacation at Ocean Isle Beach in N.C., she witnessed loggerhead turtles hatch and trek to the ocean. This experience was the incentive for the Tagalong Turtle story.
