Born at home in Derbyshire in 1975, Craig Trembirth has continued to live close to his hometown. Despite sojourns in Durham, Bristol and London, the town still acts like some realisation of Hotel California which he can seemingly check-out of but never leave.
His first book, Son of My Father: Me, My Dad and Derby County, explores the changing relationship between father and son to the backdrop of supporting their local football team. It is as much a testament to his father than it is a story about football. His second, Pandora’s Jukebox: Fifty-two recording artists to teach your kids, signposts readers to a journey of musical discovery via some of the most influential bands and musicians throughout history.
Craig has also enjoyed a colourful career including delivering road safety lessons in schools, working for charities in London and a role as a Communications Manager in the NHS.
Craig currently lives in Nottingham with his partner, Jane, and their 1972 VW Campervan, Wordsworth.
