Melanie Codina

Melanie was born to a military family. Growing up, she spent time on all the beautiful coasts including Florida, New York and California. She started a family and watched it grow, never even contemplating the possibility that she would write a book. But that’s where life took her. She now resides in the lovely state of Idaho with a full grown family. After graduating from the title of Mommy to Mom, to Bruh, then finally to MeMa, she spends most of her time lamenting the life she’s created and how remarkable it has become.

Now an empty nester, she spends her days working in healthcare and thinking of all the fictional characters she’s reading about. When her attention is not being demanded by the day job, or any of the aforementioned fictional people, she spends her time obsessing over her grandchild and harassing her adult children by sharing Reels and TikTok posts. It has become her love language.

When not doing all of the above, you can find her with a group of fictional characters all vying for a spot on the page of whatever she's working on. It's a fun and crazy life to lead, and while being an author was never in her master plan, she wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for taking part of that journey.
