Though I see the need to push the envelopes of innovation and creativity in many arenas, anything I write flows from a passion for the Church and the advancement of the gospel. My recent book, Game of Pulpits, may be my most challenging assignment in how it analyzes leadership in 7 ministry thrusts. Still, I see my first two books: Soul Whisperer: Why the Church Must Change the Way it Views Evangelism, and ReMission: Rethinking How Church Leaders Create Movement as foundational works—each addressing major areas of weakness in contemporary Christianity.

Soul Whisperer reveals the deep, powerful messaging pattern of Christ. It breaks down how Jesus reads each individual's storyline to convey a pinpointed message. ReMission develops a threefold way Christian leadership can elevate missional health in the body. Additionally. the Missional Engagement Series are vehicles for churches to engage in evangelism and equip members for gospel expansion.

While I am the professor of Evangelism and Disciple-Making Strategies at Talbot Seminary, my primary calling is leading Soul Whisperer Ministry to provide training/resources to churches and mission arms. Other experiences include: Outreach Director at Sandals Church (a megachurch in Riverside, CA), planting two churches and coaching church planters, training international mission teams with Serve U International.

Writing came to me in an unexpected sidelined season, when God rerouted me into a doctoral program. There, away from life’s busyness and alone with a keyboard, I discovered how to take the experiences God had given and make them useful contributions.

One thing I know, when we get serious about the impact of the gospel, God's inspiration overflows.
