Hazel C. King

Hazel C. King is a lifelong resident of Benson, North Carolina, about 35 miles southeast of the state capital and light years away from the fame and fortune she dreamed of as a child. Among those dreams was the fervent desire to be a writer, a goal she has pursued since she first learned to write her name in cursive. On the way to accomplishing this goal, she took time to grow up, become a wife and mother, complete a career in state government and 13.5 years of work at a Bible college, become a grandmother,and retire from the work force for the second time simultaneously with publishing her first book, "Tales from Hazel's Kingdom," in March 2013. Now that she is retired, Hazel keeps busy running the kingdom and collecting more tales to share with readers.
