D. Gilson

D. Gilson is a queer cultural critic from the Ozark Mountains who's written a lot about evangelical Christianity, Britney Spears, and hipsters. With Will Stockton, he is the author of Jesus Freak (Bloomsbury, 2018) and Crush (Punctum, 2015). He's also published an essay collection, I Will Say This Exactly One Time (Sibling Rivalry, 2015) and a chapbook of poems, Brit Lit (Sibling Rivalry, 2013). D.'s work has appeared in Threepenny Review, POETRY, and The Rumpus.
