Daniel R. Rubin

Daniel R. Rubin was born in South Bend, Indiana and attended Indiana University for both his undergraduate and graduate education in History. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from The Capital University Law School and has been licensed to practice law before the Ohio Supreme Court since 1984, the U.S. District Court, S.D., Ohio since 1985 and The Supreme Court of the United States of America since 1989. For many years, he was an Adjunct Professor of History through State College of Florida and taught American History and Advanced Placement United States Government and American Politics at Venice High School. He is a retired Reader with the Educational Testing Service His first book, "How Our Government Really Works, Despite What They Say" was awarded a 2013 Independent Publishers National Silver "IPPY" Book Award in the category of Current Events - Politics, Economics, Law and Media. The Book was a 2013 "Finalist" Next Generation Indie Book Award in the Education/Academic Category. The Book was then awarded in 2013 two Florida Authors and Publishers Association President's Gold Medal Book Awards in the Category of Education and Current Affairs Category. Rubin's second book, Boomers to Millennials, Moving America Forward, co-Authored with his son, Nathan H. Rubin has been awarded a GOLD Medal from the Next Generation INDIE Awards under their Current Events/Political Change category. Boomers to Millennials has also been awarded the Florida Authors and Publishers Association President's Book Award. . Rubin is a frequent Keynote Speaker as well as an International Guest Speaker aboard P&O Cruise Line ships. Rubin resides with his wife, Shellie in Venice, Florida.
