Ernestine Fu

Ernestine Fu is an author, investor, and entrepreneur.

Ernestine's publications include Civic Work, Civic Lessons (a public service book with Stanford professor Thomas Ehrlich), The State Clean Energy Cookbook (a report with former U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman, Secretary George Shultz, etc), and others.

Ernestine is a venture capitalist at Alsop Louie Partners. She led her first investment within two months of joining and currently leads the investment thesis in 3D printing. She also oversees the campus associate outreach program.

Ernestine holds a BS and MS from Stanford University and is a graduate of the Kauffman Fellows Program. At Stanford, she was recognized for the top honors thesis in engineering and multiple honor societies. She also served two terms on the Board of Trustees.

Ernestine currently teaches two courses at Stanford: one on entrepreneurship and venture capital, and another on circular economy.

She is a member of the Presidio Institute federal advisory board and advises social entrepreneurs.
