Elizabeth "Ada" Onwukeme was born in Jos, Nigeria. She studied at Howard University, and at Harvard University.
She has worked in America and Nigeria in various capacities in educational institutions: schools, museums, bookstores, and libraries.
She was born and baptized in the Catholic Church. In her early teens, she was born again in an Evangelical Church and has been a member in various denominations where she served as a Sunday School teacher, leader in the evangelism and prayer departments, as an Assistant Pastor, and an ordained Deaconess. She came back to the Catholic Church in June of 2005, in January of 2011 she was led to write the book: "My Church; Pray For Her Unity and Work For Her Unity." Her first book she authored was "Why Turtles Have Patchys, about to go into 3rd printing, in 2020 she published "The Essence of the Word of God Illustrated," "One Starry Night In Bethlehem," and "Amber and Her Chicks."
Since returning back to the Catholic Church she has served in various areas:as a Catechist, Eucharistic Minister; as members in the Diocesan Pastoral Council, the Council of Catholic Women Parish Board, and a Catholic School Board.
She enjoys to see people happy and at peace with God; reading, writing, arts, travel, and the Igbo language.
