Scott Mignola

SCOTT MIGNOLA became infatuated with Pinocchio after reading Carlo Collodi's THE ADVENTURES OF PINOCCHIO at a very impressionable age. As an adult he decided that the 1883 classic of Italian literature should have a sequel, following the ex-marionette's exploits as a real boy, so he set about writing one. The result, PINOCCHIO'S FORGOTTEN LAND, was published in 2013 by Dog Boy Productions, along with a companion volume of the book that inspired it. Both feature cover and title plate art by Scott's brother Mike Mignola, the acclaimed creator of HELLBOY.
